Turkish actress takes on Iranian ‘The Shark’

Turkish actress Asya Taskin has joined the cast of Iranian feature film ‘The Shark’ as the production stage is underway.

A Tuesday media report said the shooting for the film that kicked off a month ago is still in development, adding that Taskin has recently joined the cast of the film.

Taskin was born in Istanbul on April 27, 2000. She has begun acting at the age of six in the first season of the TV series ‘Arka Sokaklar’ (or Back Streets).

Ali Atashani is at the helm of 'The Shark' while Mohammad Ahmadi is in charge of the production.  

The film is starring Mehdi Hashemi, Mehran Ahmadi, and Behnaz Jafari.

Pejman Jamshidi, Reyhaneh Parsa, Mehran Rajabi and Sima Tirandaz have previously joined the project.

Lebanese actress Anne-Marie Salameh is another international actor on the cast list of the flick.
